THE MILL OF THE PAQUELAIS
A former feudal mill, which could date from 1340, it is registered in the Inventory of Historic Monuments since 1996. He carries the carved arms of the Bessard family of the Park, lord of the Easquelais in the sixteenth century. Originally, the mill was a "small foot" with a single floor overflowing with a narrower foot. After a fire in 1903, two floors were added in 1911 and Berton wings installed, as well as a second pair of stones (on the 2 nd floor). This transformation, giving a disproportionate dimension to the upper part of the building, observed on other mills in the region, caused them to be nicknamed "big head". In perfect working conditions, unfortunately, he doesn't visit so much today. However, it is possible to stop close to the mill and take a look at it.
