THE MEGALITHIC SITE OF COW ROCK
Go there and contact
It's a dolmen that rests on the holds, the quartz floor, and whose silhouette evokes a head of cattle. The site was a high lieu cult site. In the th century, a statue of Saint Michel lowered the dragon there. The ensemble includes a dolmen, a cromlech, and the Spindle menhir at Berthe. In the past, the inhabitants of the villages around it cut the lande to make the litter. Today fir trees have been planted and the lande covers the most important. The site offers a picnic area. An interpretive trail allows you to explore this site. This road book is available at the canton tourism office in St. Gildas, in town hall and at the butchery (Clavier).
