This is the last remnant of a temple built by the Protestants, the practice of their worship being forbidden in Nantes. On October 15, 1685, a few days before the signature of the Edit de Revocation called also Edit de Nantes, the temple is emptied of its furniture and ornaments that are given to the hospital in Nantes, and it is only on December 2, 1685 that the Parliament of Brittany can record the destruction of the building. The remains of the temple are sold by auction on May 9, 1686.
