BISTROT D'JEAN
Hearty cuisine and a good selection of pizzas in a pleasant bistro with a terrace in Vertou.
The guests of the Jean de la Queue restaurant at the Haie Fouassière now have a «little brother» in the neighborhood. Franck, the boss of the first «Jean», decided to open his «bistro to him» from where the name was. A midday brewery, but also pizzeria for the people traveling on the road of La Louée côté Vertou. A grayish, gray, gray-colored guess offers a rather copious stop. If the road is on the road, it's easy to relax around three rooms, two on the ground floor and a large room upstairs. The map is traditional with a complete and copious day formula (flat dish dessert) or a pizza (with salad and coffee gourmand). Or the à la carte dishes. On that day there was a white butter sandre, a grilled salmon paved or a walnut stove of Saint James. For meat, an interesting choice of the great classic, with a traditional roast of roast beef (300 g), a magret of eminent duck, beef tartare, house burger or a skewer of chicken needles, accompanied by vegetable or fries and sauces at choice. Gourmets will still be able to choose a roast camembert and toast or cream cream or tatin pie if there is a place. Jean's bistro is also a pizzeria with some twenty recipes. Practice: The pizzas exist in two sizes according to small or large faims. From the classic Napolitaine, Calzone through the «bistro d 'Jean» (mozzarella, coppa, parmesan…) or the 4 cheeses, vegetarian, Oceane, there is a choice. The atmosphere on the ground floor is a contemporary and colorful decor overlooking a beautiful summer terrace in the beautiful days. On the floor, we love the room with the floor parquet floor, the paneling ceilings and the winches to the great wines of France with the signs of great wines… The wine list is national with a few Loire wines. The service is very careful, efficient and smiling.
