You are the owner of a motorhome, van: you are part of the motorhome family! You wish to discover the Nantes region and its Nantes vineyard while taking advantage of the proximity of the Cité des Ducs? What would you say to a welcome in a wine-growing estate, all free of charge, with all the associated sanitary services, water, electricity, picnic table, reception for people with reduced mobility. Is all this possible? Well yes, thanks to the France Passion concept or the Park4night application, which combines tourist reception with the solidarity of the wine world. Indeed, motorhome owners will be happy to discover the estate's wines and certainly to buy a few bottles for the pleasure of tasting good wines during their holidays or to take home! It's win-win and it's quite nice! This accommodation is in Vertou, within the Domaine de la Chevrue, owned by the welcoming Yannick Leblé, winegrower for 5 generations. This passionate winemaker works in his 25 ha farm the production and sale of Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie, a big plant of the Pays Nantais, Chardonnay, Gamay rosé or red, the Egiodola rosé or red too (Basque name but 100% local production!)), sparkling (Perles de la Chevrue) and grape juice or sparkling wine (without alcohol). Our favourite goes undeniably to the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie which deserves to be tasted in the magnificent cellar with buildings dating for some of them from the 17th century! Moreover, Yannick and his family also have a 4-person gîte for rent in the heart of this vineyard, 20 minutes from Nantes! Beautiful encounters in perspective with the validation of the label Caves Touristiques, all this in the respect of nature with the approval of the HVE network (High Environmental Value)!
