One of France's oldest bookbinding and gilding workshops! Founded in 1830 at this very address by Auguste Defody, it is also one of the oldest craft workshops in the département. Today, Charles-Edouard Seguin, the fourth generation of the family, is at the helm, restoring your antique books to the highest standards of craftsmanship in bookbinding and gilding! After diagnosis, an estimate is provided before restoration work begins. Gilding on leather is one of the workshop's specialties, and we can also gild furniture.
