Excellent African cuisine in a restaurant with a terrace nestled at the top of Place Imbach in Angers.

Run by the friendly Étienne, this restaurant is a little nugget of West African cuisine. For starters, let yourself be tempted by the appetizers: fish pastels are accompanied by crispy bean accras and aloco fritters, made from plantains. Among the must-try dishes, don't miss mafé, a rich, flavorful stew made with beef and peanut sauce, or yassa (chicken with lemon and onion sauce). For dessert, choose from tiakry (Senegalese yoghurt) or exotic fruit: each dish will transport you straight to the African sunshine, whether you enjoy it on the terrace or in the small, slate-walled dining room!

Authentique, cuisiné maison et ambiance chaleureuse, nous avons apprécié dîner.

Poulet de qualité très moyenne.

Je recommande d'y aller au moins une fois pour découvrir...

Jamais aussi bien mangé, très bonne cuisine africaine (sénégalais) depuis très longtemps. Pastel fondants, beignet d'haricots succulents, aloko pas très gras. Très bons plats parfumés. Nous sommes de passage à Angers et nous venons de la région parisienne et nous connaissons la cuisine africaine.
