PITAYA
Restaurant offering excellent woks and tasty South-East Asian cuisine in Angers.
A chain of establishments nestled between fast food and fusion restaurant preparing a South-East Asian cuisine combining the tradition of street meals from Thailand and its neighbours. The one in Angers will have opened in September 2018. A long list of freshly prepared and minced ingredients quiver in the wok in a whirlwind of flavours from there. On the side of the Kingdom of Siam, for those who know street food, this cuisine reminds us of the thousands of stalls on three wheels that soothe the stomachs 5 to 6 times a day. Indeed, Thais, Laotians, or Cambodians, to name but a few, do not respect three daily meals as in Europe but eat light and unhealthy meals throughout the day. A healthy way to maintain the line. If lemongrass, Thai basil, ginger, coconut, curry, chilli, chicken, fish sauce are among the must-have, rice and minced vegetables remain the basis of this Asian cuisine with broths as a complement. Pad Thai, beef wok, red or yellow green curry, garlic shrimp, bo bun (Cambodian wholemeal dish), vegetarian dishes..... there is something for everyone.
