Chef Christian Tan's restaurant in Angers offers fresh, tasty Khmer cuisine.
After an overhaul of the menu and a change of name, fans of Cambodian gastronomy continue to be delighted at Cambodia Street Food. Fresh mango salad with chicken, shrimp with lime or marinated salmon for starters, followed by beef with basil, chicken supreme with red curry sauce or stir-fried noodles, the flavors are always there. Bananas with coconut milk, rice pearls with taro cream... Desserts are no exception to the rule! Warmer than before, the dining room is pleasant and the service dynamic!

Recently visited this gem of a Cambodian restaurant in Angers, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. For our entrées, we indulged in a vibrant mango salad paired with shrimp, and a tender beef salad infused with lemongrass. The authentic spices used were aromatic and flavorful, striking the perfect balance without being too overpowering. Complementing our entrées with crémant was a stellar choice, enhancing the meal's overall enjoyment.
Moving on to our main courses, the red curry with chicken supreme, and another with canette, showcased the chef's finesse in merging traditional flavors seamlessly. Paired with sticky rice and a savory fried rice sprinkled with veggies and chicken, the meal felt both hearty and refined.
For anyone looking for an authentic Cambodian culinary experience in Angers, this place is a must-visit. Kudos to the team for serving up such delectable dishes!
