Generous and tasty pizzas in a pizzeria in rue Beaurepaire in Angers.
It seduce entrance, this pizzeria on Rue Beaurepaire, with its superb wood oven installed in the middle of the hall, its old stone wall and its cream tones. The place is bright and a rear room, with visible beams, guarantees an extra touch of charm. On entry, the map offers some salads, antipasti plate, or bruschettas that can also serve as a main dish. But the king dish, here, is of course pizza, declined into 25 different recipes. Generous pizzas, fine and crispy paste. Of course, wood burning makes all the difference and the inmodable Margherita seems straight out of the best pizzerias of old Naples… Some pasta dishes are also on the menu, but the lasagna with mushrooms has been quite disappointing and unfaithful to the traditional recipe… It's too bad, too, that it's impossible to find a few slices of bread to get all this. Only bread spent at grill, for bruschettas, being available (that day only?). Fortunately, desserts attenuate this false note with a beautiful choice of ice cuts and, above all, excellent home foam to the 3 chocolates. Weaknesses: A few dishes below the quality of the famous pizzas. Talent: The pizzas! (which can also be carried) and a very smiling service.
