Gastronomic, tasty and generous cuisine in a chic restaurant with private terrace in Angers.

We're so spoiled at Bistrot des Ducs! Chef Kevin Le Faucheux has been working wonders since the restaurant opened in 2016. Reservations are essential, as the restaurant is often packed to the rafters, thanks to these flavorful dishes! Take, for example, this perfectly cooked, tender and juicy back of saithe, set in a mussel emulsion with sake, dressed with grilled chorizo chips and samphire. We finish with a fresh fruit nage and a scoop of lime sorbet, a light ending to the meal. With prices so low for such quality on the plate, and service as friendly as it is fast, Le Bistrot des Ducs is a benchmark.

Dans un cadre épuré, le personnel ainsi que le service sont impeccables (gérant charmant avec régulièrement une attention pour tous les clients). Une cuisine savoureuse et bien présentée, un bémol sur les desserts selon moi ainsi que sur la carte qui ne change pas. Un verre de digestif offert à la fin du repas. Pour résumer, on en sort ravi, une bonne adresse en plein cœur de la ville d'Angers.

De passage à Angers, mon épouse et moi sommes rentrés dans ce restaurant tout à fait par hasard... et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Plats de qualité avec un service impeccable dans la bonne humeur.
