Let's face it, restaurants with an unobstructed view of the Maine River are a rarity in Angers! So it was a great idea to open this place last spring, with its superb terrace where you can enjoy lunch or dinner just a few meters from the water. Chef Maxime Elan offers bistronomic-inspired French cuisine at relatively low prices at lunchtime, but higher prices in the evening. Starters include salmon gravelax or pig and duck terrine, followed by sea bream or filet mignon. Last but not least, classic desserts include crème brûlée and île flottante.

Open Tuesday to Saturday, 12am to 2am; Sunday, 11am to 8pm. Reservations recommended. Menus from €20 to €24 (for 2 or 3 courses, Tuesday to Friday lunchtime only). A la carte menu: approx. €40. Dish of the day: €16. Wine by the glass. Restaurant vouchers available. Groups welcome. Terrace.
