Lovers of the Cantina can rest assured that while Jean-Louis, the former owner, has left the premises for a well-deserved retirement, the task of taking over from him fell to one of his friends a year and a half ago. The result? An almost unchanged brocante-style decor, and a cuisine as simple and gourmet as ever: honey-roasted Saint-Marcelin, Provençal-style marinated octopus, fillet of beef with camembert, snacked tuna, duck confit... For dessert, the cheesecake is a model of its kind, not to mention the Catalan crème brûlée and poached pear.
