Since October 2017, Emmaüs has opened a new, larger space near Maine close to Carrefour St Serge, close to SADEL, behind the Myrtille fabrics. A site has already existed for many years in Saint-Jean-de-Linières, another in town closed this year, for the benefit of this new, much larger center, served by bus line No. 9. The warehouse, 600 m ² for deposits and 900 m ² for sale, offers the usual objects of everyday life, furniture, clothing, newspapers and books, bibelots… all from donations. The company works for a social purpose, the benefits to bring about fifty people who are poorly housed and without resources, but also from a sustainable development perspective, with all the equipment of the warehouse being recycled. In this difficult period, it is therefore the opportunity to buy in a spirit of respect for the environment and economy, while surfing smoothly on the wave of vintage…
