BIJOU VÉGÉTAL
Angers and the plant are a long history of love, and Anjou works to cultivate the flame by competing with more original ideas than others. This is the case of Maryse Gilbert and Manuella Griffaton, two creators who had the crazy idea of proposing a vegetable jewel! A partnership with Radish and Capucine later, a seed mill located in Trélazé since 1927, our two women saw their project grow and hatch at the international exhibition of fantasy jewellery Bijorhca in Paris where they won 2015 of the organizers! The concept? Wear nature on self by wearing a jewel (in composite, glass, steel, silver, brass or terracotta) that is no more than a mini-vase or a mini-pot for a mini-plantation! For the most sceptical about the life of these vegetable adornments, rest assured! These jewels have been designed for a lifetime of a few days to four months depending on the choice of plants! The ephemeral character of some creations goes hand in hand with a privileged design for important events such as marriage or other celebrations. Go to Maryse's and Manuella's website to discover the amazing choice of végétales, végétales and broches.
