You'll love wandering through the shelves, where you'll find literary classics, contemporary novels, thrillers, philosophical essays, art books, comics, and even a few DVDs. In November 2023, a few hundred meters away, at no. 19 rue Toussaint, the store opened a "youth annex", 40 m² entirely dedicated to the youngest readers, from infancy to adolescence.

Owner's Message
La Bouquinerie du Centre has been established in Angers for over 30 years. Offering second-hand books and new works on sale, this store was a pioneer in the virtuous circle of second-hand and anti-consumerism. Book-buying is by appointment only (by telephone on 02.41.41.70.88 or by sending a list or photos of the books you wish to part with to the following e-mail address: [email protected]). Books (and DVDs) are valued according to year of publication, original price and general condition. In exchange, we propose payment in cash (or by cheque if the sum exceeds €25.00), or a voucher system (the sum is increased by 30%, vouchers are valid for two years and can be split up). The idea is to renew your library, treat yourself and discover new authors at low prices! And since November 2023, a Petite Bouquinerie has been open at 19 rue Toussaint! A space entirely dedicated to young people, from 1st age to adolescence, where you'll find hardback books, albums, first readings and novels... A wide choice of books to stimulate the taste for reading and awaken the imagination...
