Passing through Candide's door is a little suspension of time, or even a serious step back! This beautiful boutique specialising in old books, with its old blue wood storyteller, has made the choice to make itself unclassifiable, and that is what makes all its charm… Ancient books yes, but also engravings, old posters, lithographs, paintings (oils, watercolours), books on painting, sculpture, photography, history, exotic bibelots (African masks, Balinese masks) and some beautiful pieces of antiquities (African masks, Balinese statuettes), Chinese… All these treasures fill the place from the floor to the ceiling in a semblance of disorder that further strengthens the pleasure of discovery!
