A wooded, flower-filled garden with ponds and flowerbeds, lined with statues and exotic or rare trees.

A magnificent green space right in the heart of Angers, attracting strollers in winter and summer alike. Within these 4 hectares of greenery, it's simply impossible not to feel alive and liberated. Remodeled at the beginning of the 20th century by landscape architect Édouard André, the Jardin des Plantes is now home to a veritable haven of peace, with paths lined with statues and trees as beautiful as they are exotic. Sumptuous flowerbeds, aviaries, rabbits and other small water features will enchant you. A feast for the eyes and nostrils!

Beau et agréable en toute saison
Jardin très bien entretenu. De taille relativement modeste, il présent e de beaux massifs. A voir également au printemps pour les azalées et les rododindrons.

Et crotte !
Et bien voilà lebeautemps est enfin là. On a un rdz-vs ce matin 10h et un autre à 15h. Alors On décide de pique-niquer au jardin des plantes ce lundi 16 juin. C'est mieux qu'un resto en ville rendubryant pas les travaux. Et bingo ! 13h30 au moment de la sieste une grosse tondeuse s'éclate derrière nous. Voilà toute la bêtise routinière des jardiniers de ville. C'est la tonte le lundi et pas un autre jour. Même s'il n'a même pas calculé la hauteur d'herbe avant. Donc jardin calme ? Pas à toutes heures.

Le jardin est gratuit et sympathique notamment avec ses animaux et ses différentes sculptures. Il est cependant légèrement petit et pas mal fréquenté lors des beaux jours.

Visite gratuite mais on a tout de même rapidement fait le tour. Permet de passer un bon moment aux beaux jours avec notamment les différents animaux (lapins, biquettes, poissons, cygnes ...)
