Pleasant surprise that this small park located rue de la Chalouère (which rises, which rises…)! This peaceful place was originally owned by the Pousset family and acquired by the city of Angers in the 1980 s. Like some 2009 other major parks in Angers, Chalouère park has been in test zone since: its maintenance is carried out in a sustainable way to reduce the use of chemicals (thermal and manual weeding, mulching in wood shavings around shrubs, use of plants couvre to save water, etc.). For the locals, as well as for the locals, it is good to relax there and admire the beautiful cedar, which stands in its surroundings. The children find games, streets him by bicycle or build huts, while the adults enjoy it… It may not be exceptional, but its simplicity apaise. We appreciate the calm of this quiet park surrounded by trees and chestnut trees, away from the city centre.
