We've entered a roaster's den, as evidenced by the various coffee makers and coffees (from Peru, Honduras, Papua New Guinea, etc.) on sale here. But he also sells vinegars and peppers, chocolate bars and, of course, coffee pods. David Pasquier's bright boutique, formerly of the restaurant l'Ardoise, features a number of tables where you can sample the aforementioned drinks on the spot, against a backdrop of burlap sacks. The friendly proprietor has opted for quality products, a fact not lost on some of the restaurateurs who call on him.
