LA SABLESIENNE
The Marquise de Sablé's cakes have come a long way since 1670, when they were all the rage at the king's court! La Sablésienne pays tribute to her with its 1670 collection and, perhaps, the pretty, classic decor of its little store. La Sablésienne itself has come a long way since 1962, having opened several stores in the region. Salted butter shortbread may be their unmistakable specialty, but their expertise extends far beyond that. Discover their all-chocolate or apricot shortbread, or the deliciously fruity raspberry fondants. Gourmets will succumb to fruit jellies and blueberry or fig jams. To accompany these sweet treats, La Sablésienne offers a selection of green and black teas.
