Located at the corner of the rue de la Roë and the Place du Ralliement, this is a convenient address in the event of a small creux. Alexandra and Denis Carton offer a wide range of home-made pastries (croissants, chocolate breads, almonds, Swiss breads, grape breads…), as well as a choice of ice cream and pastries. Fruit tartlets are sexy and generously decorated. Unless you cry for the flan chocolate, the abundance, the coconut pie or the 2 varieties of cheesecake (raspberry or caramel, a cruel dilemma!). The site also features a few beautiful pieces of pastry for several people, with large chocolate, and pretty little macaroons. As for loaves, they are produced in a dozen varieties: traditional, with or without seeds, cereals… A nice idea, finally, to propose for lunch various types of sliced bread to compser your sandwich, the base of which is presented on small metal spatulas.
