Imanol Harinordoquy, the international rugby player, took pleasure in creating a wine cellar in the heart of Biarritz. The establishment is superb, both cosy and chic, with its zinc bar and an ultra-contemporary and characterful decoration! Associated with Lionel Osmin, ambassador of the wines of the South-West, the sportsman has surrounded himself with the best to found a shock team that provides the very astonishing wine cellar. On the menu, no dishes but multiple pintxos and attention, not just any pintxos: all have been imagined and made by Vivien Durand, world champion of the pintxos competition in San Sebastian and starred chef. Pâté, ham stave, Txirula dry sausage board, carpaccio of pig's trotters, if cold meats are the order of the day, there are beautiful proposals such as the omelette like a pancake, ham, cheese and mushrooms, the gambas a la plancha and piquillos like Caesar Salad or the ballotine of shoulder of lamb confit and eggplant in vinaigrette, the cheeses and even the banana cake with chocolate and vanilla sauce! With a wine list of 300 wine references, France and the best international vintages invite themselves to the table... and it is sumptuous. Temple of tapas and wine in this lively place in the heart of Biarritz.
