Two themes are particularly developed: the Vendée wars of course, which affected this historical region of the Mauges, notably during the terrible battle of Cholet, prelude to the pardon of Bonchamps and the Galerne expedition. Art, from the 16th to the 21st century, is also honored through signatures such as Van Loo, Vasarely, Kupka, Morellet.
