This old building dating from 1741 is jealously guarded by Gérard Lhuillier. He's also the guardian of a dying craft. That's why, every day, he makes a daily loaf of bread, a seigneur, in the old-fashioned way. Country, rye, wholemeal, sweet loaves, meture, those round cornmeal loaves much loved by old and young alike. With milk and free-range eggs, he creates delicious shortbread, large and small, miches, aniseed cakes and Basque cakes of all sizes... The guarantor of tradition and know-how.
