Nous sommes tombés sur ce restaurant un peu par hasard lors de notre trajet entre Bergerac et Ouistreham. Quelle chance nous avons eu ! Dès l'entrée dans le restaurant, tout était excellent. L'accueil chaleureux du mari chef et de sa femme de maison. La nourriture... les trois plats du Plat de Jour... étaient irréprochables et joliment présentées. Et très authentique, comme on peut s'y attendre du nom du restaurant ! Le chef nous a expliqué chaque plat avec une brève description du service. et était très élogieux à l'égard de l'agneau britannique qu'il servait. Je recommande ce restaurant à tous. Et vaut bien le détour des itinéraires Nord-Sud plus conventionnels dans cette partie de la France.

Restaurant très cozy avec de l'intimité. Un chef qui a de l'expérience et qui n'a plus rien à prouver si ce n'est d'offrir à ces clients un délicieux repas avec des produits frais provenant du terroir. A déguster sans modération avec un bénéfice prix qualité rare.
