DOMAINE DES GUYONS
For more than three centuries, Franck Bimont's vineyard has been worked by the same family! And these winegrowers have "specialised" in the production of dry white wines. A speciality if ever there was one, the Chenin goes between their know-how, their intuition and an obvious propensity to take from the material, all that the terroir offers at its best. The Clos de l'Ardile, round and always lively, the Vent du Nord, the other white, explodes immediately on an insolent fruitiness. A cuvée of red wine made since 2007 in Cabernet Franc raises the standard of the new AOC Saumur-Puy-Notre-Dame, and ensures that we leave this charming house for good omen meals. Reception by appointment in a small cellar or by a detour under the house in the cellars where the beverages age slowly in barrels.
