EGLISE DU PRIEURÉ
This church is a beautiful monument of Romanesque architecture set in a bucolic setting
This listed parish church catches the eye of the stroller who takes the tiny road leading to the place called "Le Prieuré". With its canopy and its squat bell tower, it is an attractive monument of Romanesque architecture set in a bucolic setting. The bell tower, with its two levels of arched windows, still has a few capitals from the 12th century whose sculptures can be seen. If by chance the door is opened, one is surprised by the opulence of the gilded wooden altarpiece of the 17th century and by the trompe-l'oeil wall paintings dating from the 1750s.
