Church of Plantagenet Gothic style with a remarkable bell tower and original capitals, creations of the Romanesque art.
This is a fine example of the Plantagenet Gothic style. The nave has three bays, the first two of which were once covered with Plantagenet vaults. The keys and all the intersections are decorated with carved heads and figures. Some capitals are original creations of the Romanesque art (12th century) and illustrate scenes borrowed from the Old and New Testament. But the particularity of this religious building is above all its bell tower... twisted! One continues to wonder about the mystery of this torsion.
