Sandstone shale, phtanites, rhyolites, calc, limestone, spilites, quartz - so many rocks spread over millennia in the plots of this area, of great geological diversity. The vines benefit from minerals that come from the very nature of the mother rocks in the basement. Damien and Didier Richou develop some of the best slopes of the aubance, including Les (subtle, peaches and citrus aromas), or La Bigottière (an excellent savennières) and the famous 3 Ladies, a slopes that drink very well without accompaniment. The latter is the fleuron of the moelleux of the area, resulting from the most beautiful sorting of botrytisées bunches, where the natural sugar rate is highest. It gives noble spirits loaded with thousand subtle scents to give a delicately elegant taste. Young and very old vines come together here, offering generous vintages in flavours. White Anjou The Rogeries (dry and mineral wine), anjou anjou (light but expressive), rosé of Cabernet (fruity with full character), R rosé (in the notes of grenadine, for the bowls between friends), Champ de la Pierre (red with aromas of spices), or Dom Nature (crémant de Loire made)… What area!
