CLOS GALERNE
Clos Galerne is a vineyard located in Rochefort-sur-Loire. It covers 10 hectares and is made up of vines spread over different terroirs, such as Pierre Bise, Moulin Brûlé, Savennières and Chaume. The estate was created in 2018 by Myrtille and Cédric Bourez, who chose these exceptional terroirs to produce their wines. The estate's soils are rich in history, particularly in connection with the Virée de Galerne, a historic event that took place in the region in 1793. Clos Galerne's soils are composed of slate, sandstone and carboniferous schists, as well as volcanic rocks from the Armorican Massif. The wines offered by the estate include whites, reds and rosés, such as Anjou Blanc, Anjou Gamay and Anjou Rouge Village. To discover the Clos Galerne vineyards, you can take part in a tour of the Chenins.
