Cave Robert et Marcel, with a store, offering a nice and large visit with a tasting of their organic wine range
The Robert et Marcel cooperative brings together around 150 winegrowers from the Saumur region of France who are committed to sustainable development and operate 18,000 hectares of vineyards, all with PDO status. So go and immerse yourself in the labyrinth of their sensational cellar: for 45 minutes you will be captivated by the original scenography that retraces the adventure of the pioneers, who have been working since 2002 to respect the environment. By letting your five senses guide you, you will discover the secrets of the terroirs and the winemaking process, before moving on to the tasting. During this event, you can, if you wish, follow the sommeliers' advice on food and wine pairings. After the tasting linger in the shop to discover, for example, their range of organic wines, Coq'licot, but also the excellent red bourgueils. Those who like sweet wines will rather turn to the Coteaux de Saumur Héritage, a house that has won several awards. The range of sparkling wines is not to be ruled out, as beautiful subjects will astonish more than one palate. A beautiful and great visit in historical, geological, oenological, agricultural, playful and human immersion.
