In the heart of the City of Roses, a restaurant all in length in a cellar dug by man in the xiith century. Outside, the entrance is quite discreet. Inside, a staircase descends down to the depths of the vault: a 50-meter long room that can accommodate a hundred people! (Attention, the stairs are not accessible to disabled people). But what are we eating here, you ask? Local specialties, of course! Single menu, drink included. We start with galipettes, these big mushrooms of Saumur stuffed and cooked in wood fire. Then we go to the whirlpools, cooked on demand and served to will… The small hollow breads are cooked in the wood oven of the restaurant. They are filled with rillings, salted butter, rillberries, goat cheese or white beans… At dessert, we finish with a baked apple baked in Pommeau Brittany and accompanied by its vanilla ice ball. Little more for receptions, the cellar rents for weekly groups and the walking oven, available, allows you to organize large whirlpool dinners at home.
