DOMAINE OGEREAU
On the historic terroirs of Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay, where chenin has flourished for over a millennium, Domaine Ogereau has distinguished itself with exceptional wines such as coteaux-du-layon and quarts-de-chaume. Today, Emmanuel Ogereau is infusing a new approach to great dry whites, awarded a prize in 2021 by La Revue des Vins de France. A cuvée like "Vent de Spilite", from a slope of volcanic rock, illustrates this exceptional terroir. The estate also values grape varieties such as Cabernet Franc and Grolleau, for subtle wines.
