CHATEAU DE BOIS-BRINÇON
A vineyard whose origins go back to the thirteenth century and which did not forget to live with its time. Planted in 1219 by the Saint John hospital of Angers - a good church, therefore - it was confiscated to the revolution and acquired in 1892 by Florent Cailleau, huyacht in Brissac. Five generations later, Bois-Brinçon Castle, a family property, is operated by Xavier and Géraldine Cailleau. On 23 hectares, the winemaker now produces, with great respect for the environment and for grapes, the main names of this land between wood and Loire: Anjou, Anjou-villages, slopes of the Layon, slopes of the Aubance, crémant of Loire and cabernet of Anjou. On his field, he also organized an initiatic journey of one kilometer and marked with pedagogical stations. On the beautiful days, the circuit allows to explore, on the ground, all the secrets of the vineyard. You can also stay a few nights from the guest rooms installed directly in the castle.
