Vineyards located in Saumur, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the secrets of winemaking
Established since 1885, Langlois-Château has chosen to run its own vineyards (organic since 2020!) and to control all its wines. The site offers visitors the chance to discover the secrets of winemaking through "wine secrets" in 4 acts: first, an introduction to oenology in the wine school, followed by a tour of the winemaking cellars with presses and vats for white and red wines, and then a visit to the underground cellars. The tour ends with a guided wine tasting. You can also enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride through the vineyards.

Founded in 1885, Langlois-Chateau has retained its family character. Endowed with a solid reputation, it offers today to discover the "backstage of wine in 4 acts". The visit will allow you to see and understand everything that constitutes the soul of a house (vineyard, cellars, tufa stone cellars). A large commented tasting of the wines of the domain will close this initiation: Langlois Crémant de Loire White Brut and Rosé, Domaine Langlois-Chateau White and Red in Saumur and Saumur Champigny, Cabernet Rosé and Sancerre.

Accueilli par une guide très agréable, pleine de connaissances et très à l'écoute de nos questions.
On apprend plein de choses (sur les vins, les cépages, le travail de la vigne, etc..) et dégustation de Crémant de Loire au milieu de la visite.
Visite très agréable et instructive.
Puis visite de la cave toujours avec de très bonnes explications.
Et pour finir, dégustation de différents Crémants « excellent ».
A ne pas manquer si vous passez vers Saumur.
