Le fournil Saint-Pierre is a bakery unlike any other: above all, it's a treat! The bread is made in the purest tradition by a craftsman who uses only organic flour and leavens his dough with sourdough. The breads are varied: corn, dried fruit, raisin-hazelnut... As for pastries, the family specialty is fruit tart and "tendresse angevine", but don't forget the sablé saumurois with pommes tapées. At lunchtime, the bakery serves excellent sandwiches. Without a doubt, this is one of the best bakeries in the Saumur region!

Devant prendre du pain à la fin de l'excellent marché place Saint Pierre, je suis entré dans cette boulangerie que je ne connaissais pas ; bien m'en a pris : la baguette est bien cuite et croustillante et tient au-delà de la journée et le pain de seigle y est excellent ; le reste, notamment les autres pains, semblant également de qualité, je recommande cet établissement.
