A beautiful Art Deco building, the Gratien & Meyer house in Saumur is nestled into the hillside and offers an exceptional panorama of the Loire River. A visit to the cellars takes us back to the Middle Ages, when the tufa stone galleries were dug, and to the 19th century, when Alfred Gratien and Jean-Albert Meyer developed their fine bubbly wines. These wines are available in white, red and rosé, as well as champagne (Alfred Gratien d'Épernay), and can of course be tasted at the end of the tour.

Superbe cave
Superbe cave de Saumur, sur les hauteurs de la Loire. Le cadre est à coupé le souffle, le vin est excellent, facilité pour se garer et un accès très simple. Le personnel est très souriant ce qui ajoute du charme à l endroit!
The cellar are well located. We have a very beautiful view of a beautiful view. As for the sparkling wine we buy regular vintage flame and we are not disappointed
