This very interesting winery created the Domaine du Ford d'Orger in 2000, planting a first parcel in Savennières while vinifiant at Sainte-Gems-sur-Loire and taking over the culture of a few parcels of old vines in Mozé-sur-Louet. He converted to organic culture in 2008 before resuming the whole of La Franchaie castle in 2011. There he installed his cellar in the middle of vines plunging to the south towards the river, near the mill of the Roche. On 10 hectares, it produces beautiful vintages on the municipalities of Savennières, La Possonniere and Saint-Georges-sur-Loire in AOC Savennières, Anjou Slopes de la Loire and Anjou Villages. Living soil, cultivated one in two and amended naturally to maintain growing biodiversity. Loïc opts for low yields, manual harvest and rigorous sorting, both in maturity and in the physiological state of its clusters. The result is an expressive range in fine fruity savennières, such as Cuvée, which is very close to the "type" that is expected. or a Anjou villages Les Muriers 2013 with fine tannins and silky mouth, rich fruity and candied notes, with a very pleasant side. A good balance in sum. But the other brand of home builders is undoubtedly the range of Delicacies, which is left in all colors with, for each nuance, this small, sweet and sweet note that many palaces know to appreciate. Finally, Flower de Nuit, not normally every year, promises fresh and very pleasant aperitifs with this red, tender wine, aux notes, épine and cassis, slightly réglissé while remaining cellaring and lively. A beautiful discovery to close a nice painting!
