Atypical! Right in the centre of Rablay-sur-Layon, housed in a former 15th century presbytery, the Village d'Artistes is an associative art gallery created in 1987 to promote contemporary art and the creation of objets d'art. Contemporary rural craftsmanship works! Each year, about thirty creators who are regular visitors to the site present their works here on a permanent basis. The gallery organizes temporary exhibitions that change every two or three months. Jewellery, ceramics, sculptures, engravings, paintings, lighting... the different areas of the Village are constantly evolving. Marriage of the beautiful and the useful or simply an original decorative item, everything is new here, including ingeniously diverted salvaged objects... If you want to offer or give yourself an unusual gift, a visit to the shop is recommended.
