Here is a pretty story of this neophyte couple who, in 1986, bought this property and this detail that amuses them: a small vineyard in the heart of the Layon hills. 7.5 hectares of old vines later, this estate is the first choice for lovers of chenin (a typical white grape variety of the Loire). Their philosophy is "it is the vine that makes the wine, not the cellar". Wines produced in biodynamic methods, manual vertical pressing, traditional fermentation without adding any products.... And the wines, slowly aged, knew how to distinguish themselves. White anjous such as the Jar, the Churelles de Juchepie or the Paradis de Juchepie, will delight the few insiders... indeed, given the small yields, the owners, who work mainly for export, do not specifically seek to expand their clientele. Given their workload, it is imperative to book if you really want to visit the estate.
