A family estate since 1859, the fifth generation operates 9 hectares adhering to an organic production and to a very natural vinification, without chaptalization and with a very reduced use of sulfites. From dry whites to the famous Coteaux-du-Layon, including reds such as Les Tournailles or La Friponne, each of the wines of the Pierre Chauvin estate has its own particularities, its own typicity and reflects its terroir perfectly. Large fan of Slope of the Tailboard and visiting the region I stopped at their cellar. I did not like the reception, careless tasting and salted prices. I find happiness in the village of next door.
