Our hosts were very welcoming, very approachable, the complete opposite of snobs and with hundreds of stories to tell. You might think that the closeness of wind turbines would result in some background noise, but they were inaudible.
The in-house meal was generous, original and delicious. There was a lot of very good wine to try, but it was not forced upon me.
The breakfast was fabulous and healthy. The teas were very refined.
The beds were among the most comfortable I have ever experienced.
They were very nice to our beagle.
If we are in the vicinity we shall surely come back.
