Tearoom and brasserie in the continuity of the old Galand sign with a youthful twist... from the 1920s-1930s to boot
As in the days of Galand, the former owner who ran the place for... more than 35 years, this is a great place to eat. At the end of 2023, Perche-born pastry chef Sylvain Guesdon took over the business. The front has changed to a beautiful green, as has the interior, with a 1920s-1930s decor featuring brass, comfortable velvet banquettes, mirrors and vintage plates. While the new chef brings his own distinctive touch, he is also pleased to have been able to benefit from Mr. Galand's handing down of the recipes for dishes and desserts that have made the house's reputation. The new chef also makes a point of promoting local produce.
