In 1920, Yves Michaud, an engineer and beekeeper, started a family saga that was based on innovation by moving his hives with the passing of harvests and seasons: from the acacia from Béarn to the Landes heather, this forerunner marked a turning point in the field! In 1958, the Michaud family created the Lune de Miel brand, the leader in France and the most widely distributed in the world. The first private honey laboratory was founded in 1973, the jars changed and were enriched with new products such as agave syrup, innovation remained the spearhead of the activity and success marked the family, which is now in its 4th generation of beekeepers! A French know-how synonymous with quality, the company works with more than 500 beekeepers but it is in Gan that it remains. A foundation was created in 2014, it contributes to the protection of bees and the development of the activity. In the shop, you will find a unique beekeeping area of 2,000 m² with the sale of pure royal jelly, pollen pellets, all the honeys produced by the brand but also maple syrup and the equipment necessary for beekeeping professionals.
