LA BISCUITERIE DE MR LAURENT
Inspired by the legend of the Princess of Navarre, Philippe Laurent created Denier de Navarre, a delicious crunchy biscuit loaded with the subtle citrus aromas delivered by the Jurançon and enhanced by a touch of Salies salt. This little delicacy was awarded the Origine France Garantie label in September 2012.
History. Philippe Laurent has always been passionate about the food industry. Candidate for the French Dessert Cup in 2005, his gourmet creation is hailed by the Originality Prize, awarded by Cyril Lignac. His initial training as a concert musician has previously given him a taste for excellence, effort and artistic creation. Throughout his career, he has constantly broadened his knowledge in fields as varied as botany, garden art and architecture.
Settled in 2011 in Pau, in the southwest of France, he obtained his CAP as a pastry chef in 2012 and published "Les recettes de Mr Laurent" on the Internet.
The products. Mr Laurent's star is undoubtedly the Denier de Navarre, this irresistible biscuit inspired by coins minted at the end of the 16th century, bearing the effigy of King Henry IV. The subtle citrus fragrances of the AOC Jurançon wine combined with churned churn butter give it a beautiful harmony on the palate, right up to the touch of Salies-de-Béarn salt in a heart note. It can be enjoyed plain or with dark chocolate or slightly soaked in a fruity white wine. Philippe Laurent also offers "cookies of death that kills", pure butter shortbread, the famous cramique or madeleines with lemon, garlic or saffron. Cookies mounted on estimate.
