DOMAINE ABOTIA
From pig farming to vineyards, this family has gone through several formative stages, from father to son. Pork first, and still relevant today since the 16th century: "Abotia in Ispoure has been supplying pigs to the inhabitants of Pamplona since 1530", according to the archives. Wine began to exist at the end of the 19th century. The vineyard almost disappeared until it was resurrected in 1987 with the arrival of the Errecart couple, assisted by their son Peio, on the 8.5-hectare estate on steep hillsides. A fine production recognized today.
