Jams of black cherries, figs, strawberries, cherries in vinegar, Itxassou honey, jellies and chilli pies, Espelette chilli-mustard, pork foie gras... Geneviève Eyheramonho's house, just a few minutes from the village centre, is decorated with strings of chilli peppers where black cherry and Espelette chilli pepper PDO are produced by hand and where a wide range of production is offered in different forms. Geneviève welcomes you to her shop where the smell of jams and fruit, sun-drenched and sugar-filled, floats in the early morning. She is also present on Wednesday mornings at the Espelette market. This famous AOC Espelette chilli pepper, which replaces pepper and enhances the taste of meat, fish, soups and sauces, is also produced on site. Try it to bring back delicious products to your home.
