DOMAINE BARRÈRE
The Clos Cancaillaü is an amazing area. The property belongs to Anne-Marie Barrère who is assisted by his sister and mother. It operates two soils, one specialized in soft wines with silica-clay soil, and the other on dry white with poudingues soil (sedimentary rocks). The 16 hectares of the estate are managed brilliantly by this dynamic viticultrice, which has managed to renovate the vines and modernise the chai to allow quality production that can be discovered in a beautiful tasting room. The three vintages she proposes are always applauded by the criticism. The Clos Cancaillaü has a fruity nose and a fresh fresh taste. The Head Cream, a late harvest, has a woody nose associated with pear aromas. Finally the Clos de la Virgin, with its bright nose, long in mouth, appears a little more acidic and tonic to the palate. Everyone is a great success achieved by this bold feminine trio.
