LE JARDIN DES FAUNES (FLORENT BECK E.I.)
Le Jardin des Faunes is a small market-garden farm located in Mesplède, in the north-western Béarn region of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. The farm extends over a total of 5 hectares, of which 1 hectare is cultivated in open fields and the rest is woodland, meadows and moorland. Cultivation will begin in the summer of 2023, and the farm and its products are certified organic by Écocert. The farm is adjacent to the "Landes de Sault-de-Navailles" site, home to a number of rare and protected species. The farm's owner, Florent, is currently training to become a market gardener, and offers products cooked with the farm's vegetables, such as tomato coulis, eggplant caviar, pickled gherkins, piperade, basil pesto, ketchup, onion confit, green beans, sauerkraut, pumpkin soup, paprika, and so on. Products will be available from autumn 2023.
